Historic Cultural Resource Consultant
As an environmental consultant, I focus on human-land-animal impact and how to come to resolutions that allow urban and regional development without compromising areas of natural or historical cultural significance. Since 2007, I have worked with Storm L. Richards & Associates to offer wetland delineation, threatened and endangered species reports, scrub jay and gopher tortoise surveys, and Phase I environmental assessments in Florida and across the country.
• Crew Chief, Cape Canaveral Archaeological Mitigation Project, Season 9, Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida.
From January to April, 2025, I served as a Crew Chief for the 9th season of the Cape Canaveral Archaeological Mitigation Project, sponsored by the University of Central Florida and the Space Force. I was responsible for overseeing the excavation of a test unit by my crew; these responsibilities include supervision and guidance to archaeological standard practices as well as larger project and federally impactful tasks such as daily field notes, documenting and logging artifact bags, and collaborating with other units to ensure correct numbering and cataloguing of artifacts.

• Assistant, A biz Z Archäologie, Bonn, Germany
From May to July, I assisted various archaeological digs in Bonn, Germany, for what would fall under the Cultural Resource Management purview in the U.S.
• Project Assistant, Melbourne International Airport
An on going project mitigating the environmental impact of expansion of a runway, I have created ArcGIS maps to show areas of environmental impact based on ground survey of gopher tortoise and scrub jay sightings. Additionally, I have helped excavate the gophers, adhering to federal standards of excavation and relocation.
